  EDI is based in Metuchen/Piscataway, New Jersey, which are in Middlesex  

  County. EDI is a New Jersey based corporation.

  I have been an electrician for a total of Twenty years in the trade as well 

  as spending ample time developing enough knowledge and experience in the 

  installation, design, engineering and business aspects of the industry to 

  enter into ownership. 

  I have been in business for eleven years in which a master electrician’s license 

  has been maintained in New Jersey.

  The last eight years specifically have been almost exclusively working in the 

  telecom industry. AT&T; MCI/WorldCom; XO Communications; Telcove Communications; IDT 

  corp.; NET2Phone; Telecom Italia; Adire, and Focal are all of the companies that 

  represent the customer base. 

  Keep in mind that the background and foundation is electrical so you get the best of 

  both applications from one source.

  Personal and professional references can be provided if you wish and are readily available. 

  The work experience has been tremendously extensive, from conduit bank installation; 

  hazardous locations; data center design and installation; generator and UPS back-up systems; 

  and of course telecom.  

• Complete DC Power Plant systems installation which 

• Secondary DC Distribution Frames such as Power Distribution Centers (PDC); Battery 

  Distribution Circuit Breaker Board (BDCBB) and Relay Rack mount fuse panels such as 

  manufactured by Hendry.

• DC power cabling with engineered calculations for sizing the cable (if requested) 

  in accordance with Bell-Core standards for securing the cables with the proper waxed 

  cord stitching methods such as Kansas City and Chicago.

• Relay and Ladder Rack with any requested equipment installation.

• Complete POP installations.

• DS-3 (coax), DS-1 (30/32 pr. Aban Riser or Laterals) and DSO (25 pr. voice) level 

  cable installation either in conduit, plenum or laced to ladder rack and termed by

  means of BNC (coax), Spin down (Aban) or Punch down (voice). All cable verification 

  to qualify proper installation by means of T-Berd equipment testing “head to head” 

  by methods such as D1 T4 quasi random signaling to verify no bit errors exist.

• Fiber cabling installation, splicing (Fusion or Mechanical) and testing.

• Signal MUX equipment installation, cabling and turn-up from DSO to DS3 such as Alcatel 3X50 

• Optical MUX equipment installation and cabling from OC3 to OC48, with the ability to provide 

  complete turn up and acceptance if needed as well.

• DSX-1 and DSX-3 jack field installation, cabling and testing (head to head at respective levels).

• Complete frame, isolation and signal grounding systems. 

• Complete fire alarm systems for office, pre-action, or FM200 environments.

• AC/DC power and signal equipment monitoring systems.

• Security systems: ie. door/card key access, cameras, video monitors

• Any kind of conduit (PVC, EMT, Rigid up to 4”) installations with any core-boring required 

  for any diameter size hole.

• Satellite Dish installations witch includes power; grounding (with full soil and resistance testing);

  controls; and de-icing system.

• Cat 5,5E and 6 network cabling with full test verification and hard copy submittal proofs.

• PBX voice system installation and field cabling.

• Environmental control systems for HVAC.

• Lightning protection.

• Infrared integrity testing for any and all mechanical electrical connections and transformer windings  

• Complete AC power systems installation and design. 

• All the above mentioned services and installations are guided to Bell-Core standards that are rigorously

  Adhered to in the field. 

• Inside Plant Engineering/Design.

• Outside Plant Engineering/Design.

• Outside/Inside Plant Fiber Optic cable placement and Splicing.

  Copper cable splicing which includes all traffic control and city coordination for traffic permits. 

• Engineering and design consultation for all aspects of any installations are available with regards 

  to such items as; DC power cabling sizing with respect to allowable voltage drop over distance of run;

  Relay Rack elevation drawings; room layout with respect to equipment positioning for AC/DC power 

  equipment or relay/ladder rack relationship and network cabling.
